FAQs

Where do tours start?

All of our tours begin at Tomochichi’s monument in Wright Square. View Map

Do we need to make reservations?

Yes, please let us know when you want to join. Tours are limited to 20 guests to ensure everyone enjoys the walk. Book a tour HERE.

What to bring?

Comfortable walking shoes and hydration (water, tea, or perhaps a juice with libations) are most important. Depending on the conditions of the day consider bringing the following: sunscreen, bug spray, sunglasses, umbrella, jacket, and/or book bag.

Rain or shine?

Tours will not operate during concerning weather. Guests will always be alerted if a tour is cancelled and will be given a raincheck or refund. Safety and comfort are our highest priority. Hopefully it will be nice during your visit!

To-Go drinks?

Here in Savannah you may walk around with an alcoholic beverage. The law requires it to be no more than 16 ounces and in an open cup. This allowance works between MLK and West Broad and ends at Jones Street to the south. Drinks are a great addition to a fun walking tour. Please remember to keep it classy. If someone has been “over-served” they shall kindly be asked to depart the tour and directed towards water and pizza.

Handicap Accessible?

Yes everyone is welcome. Please contact us to discuss the best way to meet your needs.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are welcome to join. Please bring bags to clean up after them. Savannah is very dog friendly!

Can I bring my child?

Children are encouraged on the Historical Walking Tours. Please note the “Drinks and a Show Tour” is 21 and up because we visit multiple pubs.

What if I'm not interested in any tours listed?

Customized, non-walking tours for 1-4 hours can be arranged. Don’t let the weather or your legs limit your options. Tours can be built around your interests. Think of it as a personal concierge service. Email here: savannahtoursandtales@gmail.com or contact form for availability and pricing

How can I leave feedback?

If you enjoyed the tour please let us know by writing a review on Tripadvisor (Tripadvisor Link). If you believe we can improve a tour somehow please email us at savannatoursandtales@gmail.com.

Should I tip?

Tips are appreciated but not expected.

What is your refund policy?

Refund policy is 24 hours before the tour. Let us know if there is something we can do to change your mind.
